I worked with Stella Du Pont for a North American Division of a global company with annual revenues in excess of 11 billion dollars. As Vice President I was tasked to convert over to SAP, and develop an automated back of the house bookkeeping system to eliminate the manual data entry for the corporate office. Stella Du Pont was my only and BEST choice so I recruited her to move from California to the East Coast.

Stella defined the change for our 130 employees in detail keeping clear communication while understanding the fears the change would bring. Stella coached all associates and downsized the department without a single lay off. Under Stella’s management our associate satisfaction ratings increased to record high. There were 78 associates that were promoted to Treasury, IT, Payroll and Benefits. Millions of dollars were saved for the company! If you need to know how to get the most of your employees while they are happy, motivated and productive, I highly recommend Stella to work with your Managers. You will see how she can help you develop a strong working relationship based on mutual trust and respect between yourself and your associates.

Sue L., Vice President

I worked with Stella for a few years in Charlotte NC. When Stella first arrived at the company I was a data entry clerk with little knowledge of the role a manager plays or how to be an effective leader. Stella’s guidance helped me to progress within the company. Through coaching from Stella I was able to rise to my first management position as a supervisor within the data entry department. The coaching I received from Stella provided me an understanding of how to lead a team not just by dictating what to do and how to do it, but by working with them in a team environment. By that I mean she taught me to challenge my team and motivate them to do the job to the best of their abilities. I was able to take the skills I gained from Stella to move up in the company and I have now taking on leadership roles as a project manager and a senior analyst. Working with Stella also prepared me for entering an MBA program where the management skills I learned from her have helped me to excel in my class. Stella is a top level management coach and I would highly recommend her skills to anyone that is seeking to become a top manager or leader in their organization or in society in general.

Mike B., Project Manager

When the Manager’s position opened up I thought about applying for the position but I wasn’t sure if I could do the job and didn’t have the confidence to apply. As Stella coached me she helped me to realize that I did have the soft skills needed to do this job and my experience of being a Supervisor would give me the leadership needed to be a good Manager. That was eight years ago and I am still the Manager! Thank you Stella!

Stella was instrumental in helping me reach important career objectives. She encouraged my growth in the company using her coaching skills and showed me how to develop that growth. I have been with the company now for 11 years and now I am a Senior Functional Analyst

Nathan D., Senior Functional Analyst

For the past ten years I have been handling the Account payables for a vending company in Sacramento, CA.  I was originally hired to assist in our money room, a vault with a coin sorter.  After working for about six months, I was promoted to handle the accts/payables and reconciling warehouse inventories as well as assisting the Supervisors with daily/ weekly reports.  Ms. Stella Du Pont became my supervisor in 2005.  Ms. Du Pont made us feel like our hard work mattered.  She explained to me in detail how my daily job affected the company as a whole and made it very interesting and fun at the same time. Stella made us realize that we were part of a great big picture and that we were important to the team.

Before Stella’s arrival, our office work was just a constant routine; we followed orders and did not ask questions.   Half the time we did not understand why we did what we were doing. Things were never explained to us, just were told to do what we did.   We never felt like we were part of a team.  We didn’t celebrate employee’s birthdays or ever rewarded for a good job done.  Stella Du Pont was the first to take the initiative to get all employees’ birth -dates on a list and schedule birthday cakes each month.  This brought our office and work place moral to a higher standard. Drivers felt confident within their job duties and also felt appreciated for all their hard work because Stella took the time to talk with the drivers and explain reports to them so they understood their accountability.

Since Stella has moved on, we sure miss the camaraderie and the high morale and good times and great smiles she brought to the company.
